I am a little late discovering this but I was going to change my air filter and noticed movement in the breather.
I had completely replaced the triangular bracket and rubber mounts on it about three years ago.
What I discovered yesterday morning was that someone had tried to yank the breather loose and in the process all that remained of my mounting bracket was one scrap of steel still attached to the bottom of my breather.
Can someone tell me a source on a rebuild kit for this job? Seems like I bought my last one from Diesel Giant or maybe Mercedes Source. What I do remember was that it was an all inclusive kit plus instructions to do the job. Any assistance on who still has this kit would be appreciated.
