I think buying any Mercedes gasser will be a big let down to you .
Chucks' (?) 300SD with working AC for $1,200 sounds pretty good to me , of course there's work needed but if it passes the Oil Cap Test and isn't rusty , dented and on and on , it might well be your salvation .
I thought you said the bad engine was long gone , no ? . Hm .
OBTW : the Lonely Hearts Club will have the regular meeting this Friday , don't forget to bring a Cassrole .
