Just so Max ;
My experiance has been it's a slippery slope : I borrow a tool and of course return it cleaner than borrowed , then later on that same person wants to borrow my tools and says " why not ? I loaned you mie..."
Yes I know , and your wife is easy too but I don't want to borrow her either....
I'm very relaxed about many things , how I make my living , is my business ~ ATAY OUTA MY TOOLBOX ! .

If I borrow a tool that is gonna break the next time it's used then different story. Communication is a wonderful tool too, not only for tools, try it with your family, amazing tool.. Some tools you never loan, fragile stuff. I know people who I don't mind driving my cars, I know people who will never drive my cars. Life is a Winding road. Max
