Oh yeah. Hmmm, I wonder how he's being treated at work about this? After all he works with his younger brother. I'm sure he's gotten a lot of grief.
Checked the oil when I got home today. Sure hope that seal stops leaking! I put a GALLON of oil in it to get an acceptable reading on the dip stick. I made sure the car sat for some time...it was actually several hours. I made sure it was level. I wiped the dip stick several times before I believed the reading. I put a piece of concrete board (it was right there and white) under it so I can easily see the drips tomorrow. Other than the oil leakage it's running fine. Sitting for so long made some of the wood pieces inside start to pop off. The one around the a/c switches popped off when I got in the first time this morning. It's on there now, for whatever reason. All I did was push it back into place. Something to address later.
Oh when I was putting that board under it I noticed that the exhaust pipe is lower than the oil pan. That's the exhaust that came off of the car, with the exception of the part we got from a PAP for the turbo.
Kevin is much happy. He said he's glad to be able to get off work and have nothing hanging over him! I too am happy. Wait till you see what I brought home today! I'll post a link when I get it uploaded. I keep asking the tax people why I can't register my car as a Farm car, we have the truck registered as a Farm truck...heck I haul far more farm stuff in my car, whatever car it might be!
Gas in the Diesel, That'll be a family joke for awhile. :)
