Now that the hot tub heater is up and running on WVO yipee, it is time to get going on the electric lawn tractor.

This group provides a forum for owners and operators of diesel powered motorhomes and 5th wheel tractors to discuss mechanical issues, regulatory issues (US, Canada), ownership, insurance, campground accommodations, trip reports/suggestions, and other topics relevant to large RVs and the people who drive them.

[diesel_mercedes] BORING.......
So ;
Every morning I walk out to my trust , battered 27 year old high mileage Mercedes Diesel Sports Coupe and climb in , I now wait until the buzzer quits before turing the starter as that gives my glow plugs a few seconds longer heating time , then it makes maybe 200° revolution before springing into life and off I rumble to do highway battle with the pinheads in their Hummers , Escalades and other pointless transportation vehicles , me unworried about breakdowns or high maintenance costs , they worried about those and theft , injury from collisions and other negatives older Mercedes owners never need to consider .
Yesterday is was heavily clouded over all day and muggy but not cold so I ran the AC as I motored happily along , window down and elbow out as it should be .
It's good , life is .
Better when you drive a Mercedes Economy Car .

Pretty quiet here lately.
But tomorrow - I wash Mary, then I put her rear end in the air and change her rubber donuts, look at greasing any exposed CV joints, and then start waxing her down again. Got 2 new front tires coming next week before leaving for one week in Las Vegas. Then get home for a week and thinking about driving to Colorado Springs CO, Columbus, Ohio, then flying from Columbus to Charlotte and back, then driving from Columbus to Tacoma area before returning to LA.
That should make her my daily driver for awhile. Ordering $200 of some odds & ends tonight to keep me safe while I travel.
