I usually have two "different" crush washers in my kit. I assume they
are for the drain plug depending on what car the filter is going into.
If they are the same they probably were ment for the filter cover. The
two small o-rings on the cover shaft are what build the oil pressure.
They need to be change when they are no longer pliable. You can order
them separately. I forget what they are called.
