I knew I should have never got into drag racing my 300CD Turbo Coupe. I believe it was the "slicks" that did it. Coming off the light tree my speedometer raced forward so quickly that it broke the bond with the small center moon that conceals the attachment of the needle.
What glue should I use to reattach this moon that might be able to withstand the rapid torque of the thrusting needle?
Lastly, how big of a pain is it to get the instrument panel out and
the plastic clear cover off to fix this thing. I'll have to do something as the moon is now being hurled in all kind of manner over the face of the whole instrument panel. Naturally this moon movement is only exacerbated by the quarter mile runs.
