Possibly related to the problem, though not the monovalve itself, is the
temp sensor in the dash. When mine broke, from me messing around under
the dash, the A/C system only worked at MAX, as the sensor wasn't
sending info. I got a replacement from Brian's rust bucket, and it's
been fine ever since.
