I even said on the side of the road that I thought it was a rod. But once I heard that video and was told for sure,
I kinda figured it wasn't worth even looking into...other than IF it was the Kwik Lube place not doing their job right when the kid had the oil changed a few weeks ago. I did call him the other day and he swears up and down he knew nothing. Then he told me his sob story of the truck he bought with my money and how much he had to dump into it. I just thought to myself INSTANT KARMA!
I had to laugh at myself last night. Here I FINALLY get myself a Benz, should be virtually indestructible and within 3 weeks I've got a blown engine! Been there done that. Waaaay back in the mid '80's for my bday someone bought me a 78-79 can't remember which, Camero. The deal was that I had to take over the loan immediately. Within a month I had to replace the engine and carb! Then I tracked down the former owner and got the low down on the car. But I did drive it for another 9 yrs!
