I switched to Super Tech 15w40.Cheaper and does the job.

Orange is prettier?

OK - here is the real news. In Honor of Mark's birthday, Autozone has Shell Rotella on sale today (and maybe the rest of the week too). A gallon for $12.99 reduced from $17.99 - a $5.00 savings. I was going to get a couple of quarts, but the sale price convinced me to splurge. I'm not going to change oil until November or December but I am tempted to grab a few more (8 quarts x 2 cars = 16 quarts = 4 gallons x $13 = $52).

So, speaking of anti freeze, would someone please tell me again why we need to use MB anti freeze, the orange stuff? It's time to test or change for me, and I've never used anything but green stuff. I've had MB diesel since 1976. So why should we use orange stuff? Max
