Subject: [diesel_mercedes] diagnostic help
My 300D is making a loud thumping noise from the right rear of the car. It
first started on the free way. When i pulled off the road to look under the
car there was nothing amiss. When i got back on the road the noise took
awhile to start back up again. The back right CV boot does have some grease
on it but the boot it self is in good shape. Also it's not a clicking sound
like you hear from the front CV joint it's more of a thumping sound.
any ideas
Thanks
