I fixed the central locking on the white 240D and apparently did such a good job , it holds vacuum for over 24 hours .

Wow ~ that's better than the central locking on my '80 300CD .

The neat thing is : after 24 hours the locks nearly popped up , not the usual s l o w drag upwards you have to wait for .

SWMBO was pleased as punch .

I can hardly wait for the final parts to arrive from The Classic Center so I can have the fuel flap locking again too .
