Hello All
My 1978 300D is running hot, about 220 degrees Fahrenheit, at high speed on a
very hot day. I have replaced the thermostat & radiator cap. This helped a
little, but not enough.
Is there a recommended antifreeze and radiator flushes? I have read that the
cooling system is sensitive to pH.
thank you
Rodger
How do you know what the real temp is? Are you depending on the meter in the
car or are you using a thermometer of some sort. I use an IR Thermometer and
know exactly what my temp is on various places on the engine. Lawrence
