Thanks for the quick review. Motor mounts & the engine shocks are sitting on the shelf waiting for more pressing repairs to be accomplished first. I would add that if he doesn't have a floor jack one could be purchased, probably for less than the cost of having someone do the motor mounts, and then he'd have the floor jack for all those other fun repairs.

If you have a floor jack then do the motor mounts yourself. Just my suggestion. But it takes an 8 mm allen(hex)head on a socket, and a 12 or 13 or 14 (I don't remember which). Loosen the allen screw from underneath and loosen the two bolts/nuts that hold the m/m onto the frame. Then jack up the engine with a piece of wood to cushion between the jack and the pan. Just a half inch is enough. Slide out the old and slide in the new. There is a piece of tin you may want to reinstall so remember it's orientation. Both sides can be done in 20 minutes. Wear gloves. Bogy. next air filter bushings, and motor mounts. (I may pay someone to do the latter.)
