There is a lower set of rails and an upper set. To choose, pull up the
side lever firmly and slide the seat all the way back. Then, if you
adjust the seat fro and aft without pulling the side lever you stay on
the lower rails. If you are all the way back and pull up on the side
lever as you move forward you will be on the upper rails.
