Agreed with the one important caveat : you must do the periodic analysis or you're just flubbing your dub .
FWIW , 99 % of all privately owned vehicles , are run in _extremely_ severe service , , commuting & stop and go traffic , mixed in with the average short hop drive (under 20 minutes) is the very worst service there is .
Few seem to understand that simple concept , this is why OTR rigs get 500,000 miles out of the same auto tranny your wife fried @ 97,000 .
Synthetics are *very* good dollar value .
