I finally got around to checking my fuel economy on my 'new' car. I was hoping that it would at least be in the same ballpark as my 240D (30MPG).
Conditions were 90% highway, light wind, 55-60 mph, round trip length: ~120mi, and no AC (doesn't work anyway).
For two trips like this I calculated it to be right around 35 mpg. I'm very happy about this. This car is faster, heavier, and quieter than my 240D yet is more efficient. R+D is a good thing.
