Car is dead until I get a "new" transmission line from PnP. Meantime lots o leakage from the injector return lines, I got a meter of the stuff from Rusty and set about replacing the lot. Found an injector finger tight, so I pulled the fuel manifold and all the old return lines, and pulled out all the injectors to see how they were doing, never having done this since I installed the used engine, 10 or so years ago. Surprise!
#1 Injector: KCA30S35/4 242 115 Bar. No heat sink.
#2 Injector: KCA30S35/4 342 135 Bar, No heat sink.
#3 Injector: KCA30S35/4 342 135 Bar. Heat sink
#4 Injector: KCA30S35/4 342 135 Bar. No heat sink
#5 injector KCA30S46 444 135 Bar. No heat sink
All but number 5 seemed to seal with or without heat sinks, #5 not screwed all the way in, lots o carbon built up where the heat sink should have been.
Anybody know which of these injector is the right one? Can't find a word anywhere about markings on Bosch fuel injectors.
