So, having survived my close encounter of the bird kind, when I quit shaking I installed the 4 used plugs and the new one I'd gone down town to get, re-installed the injector pipes, pumped a bit on the manual pump, and it started up, having been dead in the yard for nearly a year.
Drove down the driveway and back up noted a tranny fluid leak, looks to be a flex line near the radiator. Perhaps tomorrow. Fixing cars in 90 degree heat is a bit of a chore, buy quite preferable to doing same in the snow..
