This may sound a bit doofus but instead of double clicking on the icon, try right clicking on it and selecting "Open".  Sometimes works when double clicking gets you a corrupt file message..

Otherwise, try downloading from a different site, I've had pretty good luck with C-Net.

Yes , I have downloaded it several times but I can't get it to launch ~ it gives me an error message.....

NO desktop icons (yet) as it's still stuck in the downloads folder....
