It may be that you get the free one to see what’s wrong but have to pay the $24.95 to fix it.  I can tell you, for $25, this one saved my ass more than once.

    You may be typing this in wrong.  It is malwarebytes dot ORG.  Are you typing in dot com? 

 

    When you enter malwarebytes.ORG, you should get a screen with three buttons across the top/middle.  The left button (blue) is for a free download version.
