I just put Michelins on my '84 300CD and I (ahem) like to drive it a *tiny* bit fast in the twisties , the 195's are more than adequate and won't beat up the suspension & bearings like the 205's will .
Trust me , you'll never overdrive these tires , they stick like c=glue and don't squeak when you're working the car hard in the chop .
_WELL_ worth the $ in both safety and long life .
