It's not hard to change that screen. I recommend also getting the threaded hose that attaches to it if you've never swapped that out before. Once I used a jumbo adjustable wrench and another time a plumbers-size vice grip made for pipes to get the old screen out. You can buy the new screen and then find something to fit it before you do the job.
