THANX ! (I think)
=8-) .
I know for sure _I_ have a different mindset than most =8-) .
Maybe I'll get a mind to go with it in 2011 ? .
We're off to Nevada in my old 1976 GMC C-2500 next week , it should be a fun trip and this time , I won't be leaving behind those European W-123 bumpers....

Pardon my stupid (?) question but : how does the high CG of an SUV differ from that of my old pickup truck ? .
TIA ,

Body shops all say no and I wasn't able to make a good job of it my ownself so I'm still looking for those elusive white ones that are not curbed .
Meanwhilst I have some close color matches now , they look O.K. for the moment .
Hope springs eternal when you cruise P-A-P on a semi - regular basis as I do .

Hi Max et al,
I just returned from a trip to Central California (Sierras/ Groveland,
CA). While the return trip was uneventful, the trip up was very wet, and
much car carnage was seen for the whole 400 mile trip north. Most of the
wrecked vehicles were pickup trucks and SUVs, which always seem to drive
too fast with wide tires and no weight in the back. My 300D drove quite
well, except for the moisture in the car which made switching back and
forth between heat and defrost, mandatory for the trip.
