Yea, post one, I have dial up. Yes 6X6 or X8, whatever. I've heard for
plowing snow on back roads, 4X4 is probably best. Dont know about tandem
axles, but it sounds like way too much stuff under there unless you are
hauling major loads across really bad roads or no roads. I have a friend
here who had a 60's Dodge Power wagon 1-1/2 ton , put a ten foot plo on
it and found out it plowed much better after he took off one the duals
on each side. We're just starting to get more snow here, still have
the arctic front over us. Had sunshine and cold all week, really nice.
If you gotta have snow its much better to keep it below freezing, makes
life much easier. I got a great picture of my boys Subaru buried after
that first big snow up at Donner a couple of weeks ago. That much snow
just blows my mind, I couldnt handle that if I had to go outside
much. 2 to 3 feet is just about right, just enough to enjoy it but not
too much to make your life miserable. Max
