Re: [diesel_mercedes] cold starting

Victor,

I have a block heater in my '82 240D here in St. Paul MN where it has
been -15 or worse for over a week and it starts up like the middle of
summer every morning, even with the heater on a timer to give it just a
couple hours each morning. Make sure your fuel can take the cold
without gelling. I use #1 and anti-gelling additive you can get at any
truck stop.
